Carbon Accounting
Carbon Accounting & CBAM
You can't manage what you haven't credibly measured.
We help organisations measure, quantify and report greenhouse gas emissions at organisation and product level, following the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 14067 and PAS 2060, so you know your footprint, where to cut it and how to prove it.
What we measure
Two boundaries, one consistent dataset.
ORGANISATIONAL BOUNDARY
Corporate GHG inventory
A complete, verification-ready inventory of your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, built to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1.
- Boundary setting and base-year selection
- Activity data collection templates and controls
- Emission factor selection and Scope 3 screening
- Inventory report ready for third-party verification
PRODUCT BOUNDARY
Product carbon footprint
Cradle-to-gate or cradle-to-grave footprints to ISO 14067, using recognised life-cycle databases such as ecoinvent, ELCD, CLCD and CPCD.
- Life-cycle modelling of materials, energy and logistics
- Hotspot analysis across your supply chain
- Customer- and tender-ready footprint reports
- Foundation for EPDs and low-carbon product claims
NET ZERO
Targets & decarbonisation roadmaps
Science-aligned targets and practical reduction pathways, with carbon neutrality claims structured under PAS 2060 or ISO 14068-1.
- SBTi target setting and submission support
- Marginal abatement and reduction project planning
- Residual emissions and offset strategy
TECHNOLOGY
Carbon management platform
Our ISO 14064 and ISO 14067-aligned system replaces spreadsheets with an auditable, year-on-year record.
- Embedded emission factor datasets and guidance
- Online organisational inventory and verification-ready reports
- Product footprint modelling tool
- Net-zero goal and reduction project tracking
Transparent carbon neutrality path
See your emissions, targets and reduction projects in one place.
Based on your emissions profile, the platform manages carbon neutrality goals and reduction projects. It shows estimated outcomes against current progress and links to carbon offset solutions for residual emissions.
EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
CBAM isn't just a regulation. It's a shift in how carbon is priced into trade.
Introduced under the EU's Fit for 55 package, CBAM equalises the carbon price paid on EU-made goods under the EU ETS with the price on imports. EU importers must report embedded emissions and surrender CBAM certificates, which means Malaysian exporters are being asked for verified, installation-level emissions data.
Sectors in scope
Cement, iron and steel, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen, including many downstream products.
Transitional period
1 October 2023 – 31 December 2025: quarterly reporting obligations only, with no financial adjustment.
Definitive period: now in force
From 1 January 2026, certificate obligations phase in as EU ETS free allocation phases out through 2034.
